Shortly after McLaren posted some real-life images showing its next part-electric supercar in camo, media discovered more spy photos and patent sketches of it in the China Patent Office database.
The car looks almost entirely the same on the snapshots and the drawings, with similarities extending as far as the bumpers, the lights, the side air intakes and the rear diffuser. Only the characteristic frunk folds are differently styled across the two sets.
It is official that the coupe utilizes a carbon frame and a hybridized powertrain centered on a brand-new V6. The electric range will be very limited, since the company argues large and heavy batteries are against its design vision.
