This unique McLaren Le Mans could be yours for £240k

A six-year old McLaren 650S is on sale in Great Britain right now with an asking price of £239,950, which the seller justifies with its unique livery and limited production run.

Out of 50 Le Mans Edition supercars produced, only one was allowed to be finished in Solar Yellow. The remaining 49 were all painted Sarthe Grey. Allegedly, the exception was made for a friend of the company, and the finish they chose corresponded to the Harrods liver one of the racecars wore to the McLaren F1 GTR race at Le Mans in 1995.

The whole Le Mans edition celebrates the events of that race, which culminated in the British marque taking first, second, fourth, fifth and thirteenth places.

Compared to the stock 650S, the special edition sports F1 GTR styling cues, a carbon aero kit including a splitter, a roof scoop, side sill extensions and a larger diffuser, and gill-like air intakes on the front fenders.

Power comes from a standard 3.8-liter V8 rated at 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque, which takes the car from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in three seconds flat.

The counter shows 9,800 km (6,090 miles) of use.
