German tuner shop DMC Tuning has launched sales of an all-new carbon body kit for the opulent McLaren 720S. Perhaps the most important characteristic of the new Stage I “Velocita” kit is that it aims to radically improve the aerodynamics of the car while preserving its original design as much as possible.
The package includes a two-piece front spoiler, side skirt extensions, a carbon insert for the rear bumper, an aggressive-looking diffusor and a ducktail-type active rear wing. An all-carbon hood is optionally available as well.
The McLaren 720S show car pictured here also sports ultralight wheels (20” in front, 21” in the back) clad in Pirelli P Zero performance tires.
Last but not least, you may opt for a set of sport-grade catalysts that should improve the engine output from the nominal 720 hp (537 kW) to 755 hp (563 kW) and 980 Nm (731 lb-ft) of torque. Once installed, the catalysts will reduce the standard 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time by 0.1s to 2.8s.
