At the auto show in Dubai, the general public was presented with a special version of the McLaren 720S supercar. This car attracts attention, first of all, by the presence of elements made of gold. As often happens in such cases, the car was manufactured on special order of one of the wealthy citizens of the UAE.
The car flaunts a black body adorned with gold elements. From the noble metal, the thermal screen of the engine is made. But to make out of it the body kit did not become and limited to carbon fiber, so as not to increase the weight of the car. In the cabin of the special McLaren 720S you can find a carbon-fiber steering wheel. The same material was used in the manufacture of paddle shift "petals". By the way, on top they are covered with 24 carat gold.
In the under-hood space of the new McLaren 720S, no changes can be detected. The car has received the standard 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine for this model. It produces 720 hp. and 770 Nm of torque. At a maximum speed of 341 km / h acceleration to "hundreds" takes the car only 2.8 seconds.
