It had been nine years since McLaren won Formula One, but Daniel Ricciardo broke the fated cycle this September. To celebrate the victory, the company’s MSO division has designed a special 720S.
The sports car wears an instantly recognizable livery of orange and blue – McLaren’s F1 colors. The flag of Australia references the fact that Ricciardo is Australian, and all three vehicles will be sold in that country alone.
No mention of power has been made, so we are going with the assumption that the 720S still relies on its stock V8 rated at 720 PS (710 hp / 529 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque. It needs 2.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) and maxes out at 340 km/h (211 mph).
