Reports: McLaren 720S to debut in April

The long-awaited successor to the McLaren 720S allegedly named the 750S may be officially revealed in April this year, Automotive News reports quoting an inside source. If the whispers are true, the supercar is coming to us with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 under the hood making 750 metric horsepower (740 hp / 552 kW).

Asked about the design of the new car, the source allegedly said, ‘It is not quite as extreme as the 765, but slightly more aggressive than the 720.’ They added that the first teaser was scheduled to come out in late February.

We are also told that the infotainment display is vertical and similar to that of the McLaren Artura. The drive mode switches reside next to the digital dashboard.

The 750S will reportedly debut in April in coupe and cabriolet flavors. Prices could begin from U.S. $342,000.
