McLaren prepares a new supercar to rumble with rumored 750 PS

McLaren has shared a video teaser of a new supercar it has been working on that CarBuzz believes will be called ‘750S’ and replace the 720S as its full-fledged successor.

The video shows the taillights strongly resembling those of the 720S and boasts that the “benchmark” will be “beaten” in this segment of the market. No further details are provided.

The 720S model dropped out of production in December 2022. Around the same time, the company began to take orders for a new, still unannounced supercar. Despite the lack of information, it was able to fill the entire production schedule with reservations until the end of 2024.

Rumor has it the new McLaren will keep the 4.0-liter V8 engine of the 720S, just boosted to 750 PS (740 hp / 552 kW).
