The British sports car maker has shared two videos focused on its latest supercar, the 750S. The test track footage aims to highlight the differences between the new model and its predecessor, the 720S.
Despite obvious stylistic similarities between the two, McLaren insists on calling the 750S a new car, arguing that the technological advancement has been extensive. Among other things, the engineering team has managed to reduce weight while improving chassis kinematics, perfecting the anti-roll system and enhancing other parameters all around.
The eight-cylinder engine has got its own share of updates, including a piston group identical to that of the McLaren Senna, new ECU software and an improved turbo system. The DCT gearbox has been modified, and the output has been improved by 30 horsepower and 30 Newton-meters (22 kW and 22 lb-ft) compared to the 720S.
