MSO launches initial options for the McLaren Elva M1A

McLaren unveiled its strictly limited, $1,690,000 USD supercar series called the Elva M1A in 2019, and the time has come for McLaren Special Operations to accessorize it a bit.

To those who missed it, let us recap that the new McLaren Elva M1A pays homage to the racecar by the same name, which Bruce McLaren piloted to victory at the Canadian Sports Car Grand Prix 1964, setting a new lap record. The modern speedster has no roof or glass dome, offers two seats, and packs a high-end V8 4.0 TT rated at 840 PS (828 hp; 617 kW), which enables it to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in under three seconds.

As for the options released today, there are two in total: a new paint scheme closely mimicking the livery of the historical Elva, and a new cabin finish.
