Several extremely rare cars have been put up for sale in Switzerland, including an Aston Martin Lagonda, a Mercedes SLR McLaren, and a 1980 BMW M1. However, the true highlight of the entire collection is a gorgeous silver-lacquered McLaren F1 supercar, which is being offered at €20,000,000.
Only 106 McLaren F1 vehicles have ever been produced – hence the exceptionally high price. Of these 106, only 64 have been made street legal, while the rest of them spent their entire lives on the race track.
This particular McLaren F1 rolled off an assembly line in 1996. In the 21 years that followed, it has only traveled around 3,500 kilometers in total (that would be ~2,175 miles).
The McLaren F1 comes with an unusual 1+2 seat arrangement and a monstrous 6.0-liter V12 engine by BMW which generates up to 627 horsepower. Its top going speed is 386 km/h (240 mph).
