McLaren’s newest grand tourer series now comes with an optional, designer-made travel bag set that costs £11,350.
The set includes four McLaren-branded items: a spacious suitcase, a case for golf clubs, a sports bag, and a carry-on bag. Put into the 570-liter (20 cu.ft.) trunk of the new GT, these are said to ‘make the most use of the available space’.
Clients may choose between light brown and black leather, and each bag is a hand-crafted fashion accessory. Pre-orders begin in September, but first shipments won’t occur until December.
McLaren calls the new GT its most comfortable vehicle ever. Powered by a four-liter V8 with 620 hp (462 kW) at the crank, it sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and doesn’t hit its speed ceiling until 326 km/h (203 mph).
The McLaren GT series starts at £163,000 in Great Britain.
