The McLaren GT is the marque’s first Gran Tourer vehicle in the lineup. Despite its mid-engine layout, it boasts a spacious interior and a sizeable trunk compartment. The drivetrain is rated at 620 hp (462 kW) and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque. The curb weight is 1,530 kilos (3,373 lbs) the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint time is 3.2 seconds, and the top speed is 326 km/h (202 mph).
At the first look, the Bentley Continental GT V8 appears underpowered compared to its rival. It weighs in at a whopping 2,164 kg (4,770 lbs), packs only 550 hp (410 kW), and needs four seconds to hit 100 km/h. At 318 km/h (196 mph), it also maxes out slightly under the McLaren. However, what it also brings to the table is an impressive 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque sent to all four wheels and not just the rear ones, like on the McLaren.
