McLaren GT cosplays a chameleon in the new Verdant Theme edition

McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has taken the wraps off its latest work of art, the GT Verdant Theme. As you may guess, the killer feature of the series comes in the form of the dazzling chameleon paint.

The three green hues used look differently depending on your view angle and the available lighting. MSO claims it has spent 430 hours producing the first copy. There is also a contrasting stripe underlining the lower body of the car and the yellow-green brake calipers creating a bit of diversity. The wheels, the exhaust tips and the window frames are black.

Genuine cashmere wool covers the cabin alongside Anthracite Grey and Dark Green leather. The headrests wear MSO badges, and special trim adorns the panels and the pedals.

The Verdant Theme GT comes powered by the standard V8 4.0 TT engine that drives the rear axle by means of a seven-speed pre-selective transmission. 620 horsepower (462 kilowatts) enable it to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and 200 km/h (124 mph) in just nine seconds.

Starting today, McLaren Special Operations will stylize any McLaren vehicle like this, and while the prices aren’t being made public, they can be relied upon to be exorbitant.
