Lego has complemented its adult-oriented ‘Icons’ lineup with a fairly detailed replica of the McLaren MP4/4, one of the most iconic vehicles ever driven by F1 champion Ayrton Senna.
You can already pre-order it for U.S. $79,99. The kit comprises 693 parts. The finished model is 32 x 17 x 12 centimeters large (roughly 12.5 x 6.5 x 4.7 inches). It even sports a livery not unlike that of the original, although the Marlboro ad is gone. The steering and the suspension are functional, the rear wing can be adjusted, and the V6 under the hood is richly detailed.
The box also contains a Lego figurine of Senna standing on a pedestal, as well as a plaque with the driver’s real photo on it and his famous quote.
