O’Gara Coach, the owner of McLaren’s Beverly Hills showrooms, has contracted Lanzante to come up with a unique design for the McLaren P1 HDK, and exhibited the result for everyone to see at The Quail.
The hybrid supercar contains allusions to multiple iconic models, including the F1 HDK trimmed to the LM spec and the F1 GTR racecar, from which the F1 HDK inherits the aero kit. As for the chassis and the powertrain, McLaren P1 provides both.
There is nothing being said about the power and torque, but the stock P1 (see video) generates 916 PS (903 hp / 674 kW) along with up to 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. We suspect that a boost to at least 1,000 horsepower (745 kilowatts) has taken place.
Elsewhere, the exterior comes painted green and the Alcantara-wrapped interior is brown. The aggressive-looking body kit consists of a giant fixed rear wing, a rear diffuser, an enlarged front splitter, and ventilated fenders.
A cherry on top comes in the form of badges molded from 24-carate gold.
