An all-new McLaren P1 GT supercar packing a 1,000-horsepower (750-kilowatt) hybrid engine will be revealed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed coming in mid-July. The show car was built by order of an anonymous client from the Middle East.
Lanzante, a UK-based partner of McLaren, has recently revealed a teaser pic of the resplendent McLaren P1 GT. The vehicle has a longer and lower rear, a different spoiler, a rear wing, and air vents on the roof.
An unconfirmed rumor suggests the car is driven by a 3.8-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine and an unspecified amount of electric motors.
Even though the show copy of the vehicle was built against an individual order, the company plans to release several other versions of the McLaren P1 GT for the mass market. Prices remain unknown.
