Pickup Design has been picking up the pace lately. It’s only been a week since it announced the rugged Mercedes-Benz X-Class Exy Extreme truck, and now it is already teasing us with pics of a six-wheeled X-Class.
Still, it has to be said that so far, the car only exists in the form of 3D graphic sketches. Based on these, the team wants to take a Mercedes-Benz X-Class W470, elongate its wheelbase, add a third axle and design a custom body kit from scratch. The result is going to be called the Mercedes-Benz X-Class EXY 6×6.
If the car ever gets released, it will feature an enlarged truck bed, a prominent ventilated hood cover, a massive front bumper, underbody protection and a winch. It will also sport dual-tone lacquering in dull gold and matte black. The interior will doubtlessly get a most luxurious trim.
Supposing that the Mercedes-Benz X-Class EXY 6×6 goes into the production, it is going to have to compete with such monster trucks as the Bureko 6×6, Hennessey Goliath 6×6 and Brabus B63S 700 6X6.
