There has been an interesting trend in the automotive world lately: namely, people turning old SUVs into three-axled monster trucks. One of these has recently been put up for sale in the UK.
The unknown tuner built the vehicle with the right-hand-drive 2001 Mercedes-Benz ML as a starting point.
The off-roader gained an open truck bed for cargo transportation and a third axle. However, the latter is not connected to the transmission in any way and therefore mostly serves an aesthetic function.
The 6x4 SUV-turned-pickup comes powered by a 3.2-liter gasoline engine linked to an automatic transmission.
The car has around 225,000 kilometers (140,000 miles) on its odometer and sells for £19,995 on eBay. That’s about as much as a new Volkswagen T-Roc costs.
