A new speedboat called 41’ AMG Carbon Edition, conceptualized and designed in a joint project between Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing, just debuted at the 2019 Miami Boat Show.
The vessel is 12.5 meters (41 feet) long and has the 41’ GTR model at its base. Its design, on the other hand, aims to mimic that of the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe.
Multiple elements, including the roof of the pilothouse, the steering wheel, the deck and some others are made of carbon fiber. The engine bay houses a quartet of Mercury Racing 400R engines toiling together to produce an impressive 1,622 horsepower (1,210 kilowatts). It can sail as fast as 134 km/h (100 mph).
Inside, the 41’ AMG Carbon Edition houses three 17-inch displays and specially designed seats wrapped in Cigarette Cool material that is said to reflect up to 30% of heat. The boat can accommodate up to 20 passengers, or only 8 if you want to speed up to the max.
Prices remain undisclosed.
