Carlex Design polishes the interior of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class

Famous car interior customizer Carlex Design has unveiled a large-scale makeover of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class pickup truck. The cross-country-capable vehicle sports an ultra-opulent interior trim that involves generous amounts of leather, Alcantara and natural wood.

The entire passenger area, including the seats, door cards, lower dashboard, steering wheel, center console and transmission tunnel, now wears fine leather upholstery in white and brown. The fascia and the floor are lined with wood, and the ceiling is draped with soft black Alcantara.

Carlex Design did not mess with the exterior of the truck or its engine, not just because this is not what it usually does, but also because the Mercedes-Benz X-Class is really self-sufficient in those areas. Furthermore, the people who buy it are usually well-off, upper middle-class residents of urban or suburban areas with a well-developed road infrastructure. As such, they usually only resort to tuning for bragging rights.
