Video: This is what the new Mercedes-Benz GLB sounds like

German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has filmed a video dedicated to its new GLB SUV. Hit ‘Play’ for a look at its headlights and a sample of its engine sound.

The car will debut at the motor show in Shanghai, China in just a few days. As you can see, the concept vehicle sports an additional LED light mounted on its roof, but it is not present in the production version of the car.

As for the interior and features, we speculate that it gets an all-digital dashboard, an MBUX infotainment system, and a semi-autonomous drive system like the one that ships with the latest S-Class.

The new GLB crossover/SUV utilizes the same front-wheel-driven MFA architecture as the current Mercedes A-Class and GLA models. It also features adaptive shock absorbers and air suspension.

The car will ship with a selection of four-cylinder gas and diesel engines rated between 160 hp (120 kW) and 300 hp (224 kW). A GLB hybrid may be released at a later date.
