It was such a happy fate that suffered an electric crossover Mercedes-Benz EQC - a serial version of the prototype Generation EQ Concept, first introduced to the general public at the Paris Motor Show last year. The automaker announced the beginning of the acceptance of pre-orders for this car. The first green car Mercedes-Benz EQC will come off the assembly line in two years.
It is interesting that the first orders began to be accepted in Norway. Manufacturers of the electric car will not fail - in this northern country very much care about the state of the environment, and "clean" cars are very popular. To make pre-order, Norwegians need to transfer to the deposit a little over 20 thousand kroons. If the client subsequently refuses the purchase, the money will be returned to him in full, said the company's officials.
As for the technical characteristics of the novelty, the basis for the Mercedes-Benz EQC will be a completely new platform. According to the information leaked in the media, the car will receive a pair of electric motors with a total capacity of 408 horsepower. And the power reserve of the car without recharging will be about 500 kilometers.
