Mercedes-Benz X-Class Ed.1 debuts in Australia with new exterior décor and features

A special series of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class pickup truck, called the Edition 1, has arrived in showrooms across Australia. Based on the 350d 4Matic trim, it comes priced at $87,500 AUD and above.

The limited-issue X-Class comes powered by a 3.0-liter, six-cylinder diesel engine rated at 260 hp (194 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lbft) of torque. It links to a 7G-Tronic Plus transmission that features a low range and a diff lock.

Clients may order their pickups in three colors: black, white, and grey. Regardless of your choice, certain parts of the car will ship in black. This includes the radiator grille, the 19-inch wheels, the badges, and the roof railings.

Compared to the standard-issue Mercedes-Benz X-Class 350d 4Matic, the Edition 1 boasts some basic body protection and has a hardtop over its truck bed.

Moving on into the cabin, notable additions include branded floor mats, heated front seats, and a rear window with an integrated hatch that you can open and close whenever convenient.
