The new camping car Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo Horizon was presented in Stuttgart in Germany, within the exhibition of the European tourism and rest (Caravan, Motor, Touristik show 2017).
Unlike traditional car campers Marco Polo Horizon has quite compact dimensions. At the same time novelty's capacity — 7 people, bed capacity — 5 people. For two passengers the place to sleep (2,05m x 1,13 m) is provided under the rising roof, other three persons (presumably two parents and the child) can sleep on the sofa bed (1,93m x 1,35m) in the rear of the car. There are also curtains and front seats turning by 180 degree provided for comfort.
The tourist car is equipped with the four-cylinder motor with a power (at choice) 136, 163 and 190 horsepowers. All engines will work in a tandem with a seven-step automatic transmission. Rear-drive and all-wheel drive versions of the car soon will go on sale. Fuel consumption will make about 6,7 liters on 100 km.
It is known that in the European market the price of a novelty will make 52 thousand euros.
