Mercedes-Benz has announced a brand-new vehicle class scheduled for launch in 2022. The T-Class is a passenger-oriented compact van that the company will design in collaboration with the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance.
The Mercedes-Benz T-Class will share the principal tech with the Citan commercial van (watch the video for a brief demo) and will primarily target families with kids, as well as active leisure enthusiasts.
Promised features include a spacious interior with everything needed for comfortable traveling already inside. The design will be kept in line with that of the modern light passenger cars, with sliding doors on both sides and multiple powertrains to choose from (including electric).
