Mercedes-Benz said it would present its independently developed MBUX infotainment system at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2018) in Las-Vegas, U.S.A. The system, whose abbreviation stands for Mercedec-Benz User Experience, will be installed on the next-generation A-Class cars, among others.
Based on the images published, one can conclude that all base trim level cars should receive two 7-inch displays, while high-end models should get a pair of 10.25-inch screens. The first display is essentially a dashboard, whereas the second provides necessary driving information, allows quick access to the climate control, and offers a number of entertainment functions.
The new MBUX infotainment system has been developed especially for the new instalments in Mercedes A-Class, B-Class, CLA, CLA Shooting Brake, and GLA series.
