German car maker presented open Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet in Network. Public debut will take place at Geneva auto show in March.
A few days ago the company posted the first teaser of a novelty on the page in Facebook, and the full-fledged online release of the SUV, which will become the successor of the known G63 AMG 6x6 and G500 models 4x4 and the first car of SUV class in a model range of Maybach took place the day before. In total, only 99 copies will be assembled. Most likely, the price tag will begin from 490 thousand euros.
The car is equipped with AMG twin-turbo 6.0 V12 630 h.p. and torque of 1 000 Nm. The ground clearance makes 450 mm, that together with big wheels 325/55 (22 inches) is ideal for driving on the cross-country terrain. Besides, the model got portal axles and a differential lock (all this is inherited from the older models). There are four colors and three colors of a fabric covering of a roof. The color of the interior trim can is also available for choice.
Car seats are equipped with massage function (there is also a hot stone massage). Cup holders in the cabin can heat or cool drinks. Serial production of the novelty will be started at Austrian Magna Steyr factory this autumn.
