Engineers and designers of the German car tuning shop Brabus have worked their tuning magic on the Mercedes-Benz X-Class pick-up truck. The package brings mostly visual changes along with a minor engine upgrade.
On the outside, the Mercedes-Benz X-Class gets a reworked radiator grille and a number of LED stripes on the roof and the front bumper that turn on and off automatically. As the tuning tradition demands, the pick-up received a set of 20-inch wheels and stylish split exhaust pipes with chrome coating.
The engineers have raised the performance of the stock four-cylinder diesel engine by 21 hp (15.7 kW) and 60 Nm (44 lb·ft) of torque, thus bringing it to a total of 211 hp (157 kW) and 510 nm (376 lb·ft). The car now needs 11.5 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph), as opposed to 11.8 seconds in the stock version.
Brabus hasn’t revealed the cost of the new styling package so far.
