German car maker Mercedes-Benz has released a video showcasing the rear part of its EQC all-electric SUV, which should premiere on September 4, 2018. Its front part has been revealed in another video published earlier this week.
For those who didn’t remember, the EQC is a production version of the Mercedes-Benz Generation EQ Concept introduced in 2016.
Based on the videos, the production vehicle sports a different-looking radiator grille and restyled rear lights, compared to its early prototype.
There is still no information available regarding the drivetrain of the car or its performance. The concept vehicle came equipped with two electric motors with around 410 hp total output and could travel as far as 500 km (310 mi) on a single charge.
The new Mercedes-Benz EQC series will go on sale early next year, with pre-orders already available in Norway.
