Even in its stock version, the Mercedes A-Class (W177) is quite a performer. However, the Lorinser team apparently believes it’s going to do even better with an engine upgrade.
The Mercedes A250 Green Series will consist of 25 cars. Each will get custom wheels, a nice body kit and a power increase.
The aero kit will consist of a front spoiler and a diffusor – both sooner decorative than practical, but sometimes it’s the appearance that counts. There will also be four new carbon exhaust tips.
Each car will be shipped with an exclusive 19-inch wheel set featuring an original spoke design.
Lorinser claims the engine output will rise from the factory-promised 224 hp (167 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb×ft) of torque to rather more impressive 258 hp (192 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb×ft), owing to a simple ECU remap.
