H&R springs now available for the new Mercedes A-Class (W177)

The latest generation of the Mercedes A-Class has much going for it: neat proportions, pleasant outlines, a wide selection of powertrains, and the sporty vibes of the AMG series. Too bad the latter often comes with a massive price tag that many find beyond their compass.

Today, H&R fixed this at least partially by releasing affordable lowering kits for the entire Mercedes A-Class (W177) range. Once installed, they bring the car a further 25 to 35 mm (1 – 1.4 inches, depending on the particular model) closer to the ground. This improves the looks along with the cornering performance, and the manufacturer even claims the stiffer springs do not affect your comfort noticeably during long road trips.

You can purchase the kit for any A-Class vehicle at just €280 and use it with your car’s normal shock absorbers. H&R recommends also grabbing a set of Trak+ wheel spacers to fine-tune the positions of standard and aftermarket wheels in their arches (€45/set).
