Beginner’s Pack: H&R launches a lowering kit for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class

Back in 2018, we were worried that Mercedes might take its A-Class saloon in a wrong stylistic direction altogether, but we were wrong. The four-door vehicle turned out sleek, style-conscious and sporty like all things Mercedes. No wonder H&R decided to release a lowering kit for it.

The fixed-height springs will set you back €280 and will work well with the stock Comfort/Adaptive suspension. The rear axle has to feature multi-link suspension design in order for the springs to fit.

Once installed, the ride height drops by 30 mm (1.2”) on the front axle and by approximately 20 mm (0.8”) on the rear one. Those who prefer sportier driving styles will know to appreciate the enhanced suspension response at higher speeds, especially when cornering.

Also available for the model are Trak+ wheel spacers, priced from €45 per axle.
