The new 2018 Mercedes-Benz A-Class debuts in Amsterdam

The next generation model of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class mini hatchback has recently debuted in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This time around, the vehicle looks different in pretty much any aspect from its predecessor – and comes with a number of engine options to pick your favorite from.

The first cars to roll off the assembly line will be available this summer. The baseline Mercedes-Benz A200 will comes with a 1.4-liter gasoline engine capable of 163 hp and 250 Nm torque.

Its senior model, the A250, will offer a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine wth 224 hp and 350 Nm. Finally, just as its name implies, the Mercedes-Benz A180d will be equipped with a 1.5-liter diesel with 116 hp and 260 Nm.

Much novelty comes in the form of a completely redesigned interior which looks unlike anything Mercedes has done before. There are some state-of-the-art steering assistance and safety-oriented features, as well as an up-to-date infotainment system with two large displays.
