Brabus improves upon the latest Mercedes-AMG A 35 4Matic

Brabus has unveiled its own rendition of the Mercedes-AMG A 35 4Matic. Let us see what kind of upgrades the hot hatch received.

The stock AMG A 35 comes powered by a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 306 hp (228 kW) and 400 Nm (295 pound-feet) of torque at the crank. This enables it to sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds.

Brabus has two boost kits on offer. The first one is called PowerXtra B35, and dials the performance up to 350 hp (261 kW) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft). The other one is dubbed PowerXtra + B35S, and promises 365 hp (272 kW) at the crank. Both reduce the standard sprint time to around 4.4 seconds. The former costs €2,368, while the latter comes with a €3,201 price tag attached.

Purely aesthetic changes include a new front splitter, a rear wing and 19-inch Monoblock wheels. Finally, there is an upgrade package for the cabin, which costs €1,375 and includes velour mats, aluminum pedal pads, and illuminated kick plates. A paddle shifter is also included, but the 7G-Tronic transmission stays stock.
