CarWOW has shot another great drag race arranged among four performance cars made in Germany: Audi RS3, BMW M2 Competition, Mercedes-AMG A45, and Volkswagen Golf R.
With 421 hp (314 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) sourced from its class-leading 2.0 4-cylinder, the AMG A45S is the strongest of the bunch in terms of raw power. The M2 Competition lags ever so slightly behind with 410 hp (306 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) extracted from six cylinders and three liters of displacement.
The RS3 comes third with its 2.5 5-cyl., 400 hp (298 kW) and 480 Nm (358 lb-ft) of torque. The Golf R appears to be the outsider with its 2.0 4-cylinder barely churning out 300 hp (224 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.
In the end, might proved right with the Mercedes-AMG crossing the finish line in 12.1 seconds, the Audi lagging behind with 12.4 s, the BMW coming third with 12.9 s, and the Golf last of all with 13.1 s. Watch the video for interesting details.
