Buying an A35 AMG is currently the cheapest way into the AMG club, and while its performance may be lacking compared to real sports cars, the model handles well and generally has that ‘AMG feel’ about it. You want more, you can always upgrade.
H&R has just such an upgrade in stock for the sported-up A35 now, and it is a lowering spring kit. The fixed-height springs cost €319 and are easy to integrate into the factory suspension, whether standard or AMG Ride Control. The only requirement is car production year 2018 or newer.
The rear axle drops by 15 millimeters (0.6 inches), while the rear one loses 25 mm (1”), which unlocks superior cornering performance without significant rocking or rolling. Also in store for the A35 AMG are wheel spacers ranging between 6 and 40 mm (0.12” – 1.6”) in size and priced from €45 per axle.
