CarWOW has posted another drag racing video, this time around putting the latest Mercedes-AMG A 45 S up against the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.
The Italian sports car comes equipped with a 2.9-liter V6 rated at 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) and a rear-wheel drive system. It lacks launch control and costs £67,200 before options in the UK.
Powering the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder good for 421 PS (415 hp / 310 kW) and 500 Nm (373 lb-ft) of torque. The hot hatch drives all four wheels, but weighs 110 kg (242 lbs) more than its rival. Prices start from £50,600.
