A mere few days ago, Mercedes reclaimed the title of the North Loop Champion in the Executive Cars category – and it follows up with an even more impressive record now.
An unmodded Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series has covered the entire 20.83-kilometer (12.94-mile) long track in just six minutes 48.047 seconds, netting itself the title of the fastest production car to ever grace the Green Hell.
The manufacturer claims no changes have been done to the car, and the driver restricted themselves to moving the OEM front splitter down to the ‘Race’ position, lowering the ground clearance, and switching between the various traction control modes as needed.
