German aftermarket vendor Wheelsandmore has been looking for a way to fit centerlock wheels onto the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series for a while now, and has now finally found a working solution which it calls the Underdock.
The wheel adaptor (patent pending) comes CNC-machined from high-density forged aluminum, weighs very little and lets you install centerlock rims on the AMG GT Black Series. A secure magnetic lock is used to attach the hubcap, providing for easy installation and dismantling of wheels at the pit stop. The company promises improved acceleration, handling and deceleration with its new wheels, as well as obviously improved looks.
The Wheelsandmore catalog for the AMG GT model will soon expand to incorporate a variety of other options, such as a performance exhaust system, six-piston titanium brakes, and other track-friendly accessories. No estimated availability times have been provided.
