1st Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series Project One Limited crops up on sale

Mercedes made buying its latest-and-greatest road-legal supercar especially challenging. In addition to paying €335,240+, interested buyers must also pre-order the upcoming Mercedes-AMG One. Well, this has not prevented one example from going on sale in Germany.

The seller claims this is the first Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series Project One Limited Edition to ever grace the used car market, although ‘used’ seems an overstatement with only 30 km (18.6 miles) on the odo. The asking price of €672,350 is nearly twice that of the official sticker.

The AMG GT Black Series is a standing Nürburgring champion among production cars. Its four-liter V8 is the most powerful mass-produced Mercedes engine in history at 730 PS (720 hp / 537 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. The monster ride needs 3.2 seconds to get from nothing to 100 km/h (62 mph).

The production quantity will be limited to 275 units. Compared to the standard coupe, the Limited Edition sports a bespoke aerodynamic kit and a bi-color body finish.
