A Mercedes-AMG GT S with a sufficiently boosted engine can take on almost any supercar in a drag race – but it’s a big “almost” when it comes to going up against the magnificent McLaren 720S.
The car was tuned up in the JB Automotive custom shop. The engineer team boosted its 522 hp (389 kW) strong engine to 744 hp (555 kW), which necessitated a three-stage upgrade plan.
Alas, not even this amount of raw power could save the Mercedes-AMG GT S from losing the race to the McLaren 720S. It is worth pointing out, however, that the car still managed to overtake the Chevrolet Corvette and the Ford Mustang, which is quite an accomplishment in itself.
