Buckle up, we’re taking off! This 750HP Mercedes-AMG GT R will blow you away

…Well, hopefully not. An open-top car with 585 stock hp (436 kW) under the hood is a force to be reckoned with – especially if you’re planning on taking it all the way to the max (317 km/h, or 197 mph) with the soft top folded down. We won’t recommend driving it like this, but Wheelsandmore may tempt you into trying.

The tuner has just unveiled the Hypaero, a customization plan that consists of three different stages. The Stage 1 focuses on handling ease and comfort, and includes an ECU tune alongside F1-spec air filters. The net result is 650 hp (485 kW) and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of torque.

The Stage 2 improves upon this by adding sports-grade catalysts and further ECU tweaks, squeezing the V8 4.0 to the tune of 670 hp (500 kW) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft). Finally, the Stage 3 necessitates a turbocharger upgrade and results in 750 hp (559 kW) and 860 Nm (634 lb-ft) of torque. It also costs roughly the same as the new VW Golf 8 or Peugeot 308 sedan (€45,000+).

Options include the KW Variant 4 suspension kit with a hydraulic lift function and Wheelsandmore forged wheels available in 20- and 21-inch sizes with Michelin tires.
