HWA AG has unveiled a custom speedster based on the Mercedes-AMG GT R chassis. The car is called the Bussink GT R SpeedLegend and draws design inspiration from AMG Formula racecars.
The company will produce five such vehicles, taking off the folding roof, the OEM windshield and the upper a-pillars. To compensate for the loss of structural rigidity, a Y-shaped carbon-fiber roll bar will be added to the car along with a few controls, special lighting and a rearview mirror.
The stock eight-cylinder under the hood will receive a boost from its original 585 PS (577 hp / 430 kW) to 850 PS (838 hp / 625 kW). Even though all cars have already been sold out in pre-orders, prices remain confidential.
