Around a year ago, Performmaster GmbH produced a limited batch of Mercedes-AMG GT63 S customs (see video). All 31 units were sold, but now, another batch is coming up with even higher specs.
In its stock guise, the luxury saloon packs 630 hp (470 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. The Stage 1 kit from last year resorts to chip tuning to get 730 hp (544 kW) and 1,030 Nm (760 lb-ft) of torque out of the car’s four-liter V8. The newly announced Stage 2 introduces turbocharger modifications and results in 810 hp (603 kW)along with 1,070 Nm (789 lb-ft) of maximum torque.
Once tuned, the saloon only needs 2.8 seconds to get from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph), whereas the unmodded car needs 3.2 seconds. It also maxes out at 340 km/h (211 mph) instead of the manufacturer-guaranteed 315 km/h (195 mph).
Performmaster has not revealed the pricing and availability information yet.
