Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S gets 800 HP, 1000 Nm from G-Power GmbH

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC+, which proudly calls itself “4-Door Coupe”, sits at the pinnacle of the Stuttgart automobile brand’s range, packing healthy 630 hp (470 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) under the hood. Despite this, G-Power GmbH devised a way of making it even stronger.

The tuner calls the car “GP 63” and the specific power kit “Stage 3”. Included are new turbochargers, a downpipe, a high-end air filter, a sports-spec exhaust system, and modified ECU software. Once everything is installed, the power goes up by 161 hp (120 kW) and the torque by 100 Nm (75 lb-ft). As a result, the luxury saloon zaps from zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.2 seconds – quite a feat, given its 2.1 metric tons (4,650 lbs) of weight.

Those who feel cheap after treating themselves to Mercedes’ finest may still opt for Stage 1 (700 hp, 522 kW) or Stage 2 (750 hp, 553 kW).
