It’s been four and a half long years since Mercedes-AMG announced its hypercar named One, and the work is still in progress. Here are some quality spy photos to tide you over.
The entire body is still covered in disguise wrap, leaving only black trim elements and gaping air intakes exposed. The design seems composed of all the sleek aerodynamic shapes and details we have come to associate with pro motorsports. The front fascia boasts a massive sectioned grille, and there is an air scoop on the roof. The rear diffuser is no less impressive, as is the active wing with a separately moving middle section.
The exhaust system is another interesting point. Note the large central pipe and two smaller pipes down below at the sides. A glimpse inside reveals some of the cockpit, complete with an F1-style rectangular steering wheel, a display behind it, and another display next to it.
The car comes powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged racing-spec V6 assisted by quad electric motors for 1,000+ PS (750+ kW) total.
