Mercedes-Benz has many crossover SUVs on its lineup, but the 2016 E-Class All-Terrain, which you can see in our gallery and the video here, remains its only off-road estate/wagon model to date. However, things may change with the introduction of a more compact, C-Class variant of that car.
Once released, the C-Class All-Terrain will compete against the Audi A4 Allroad and the Volvo V60 Cross Country for customer attention. While not official, it is expected to get a design similar to that of its E-Class counterpart, namely, higher clearance, larger wheels and permanent 4WD. It might also come equipped with height-adjustable air suspension.
The next generation of the C-Class should emerge next year. The All-Terrain estate/wagon will likely debut in 2021.
