With the previous-gen C-Class having sold over 2.5 million units worldwide, there’s little surprise Mercedes doesn’t want to change the formula. The latest video starring YouTuber Mr. Benz still suggests that some innovation is to be expected.
Apparently, Mr. Benz was given the unique honor of test-driving a pre-production C-Class, and the main thing that becomes apparent from the first seconds is that the car inherits its 12.3-inch digital dashboard and 12.8-inch multimedia display from the range-topping S-Class.
The spy photos attached to this news article show a rather earlier prototype with a smaller screen instead of a massive tablet-like display. Could it be a cheaper trim level? Certainly looks like that.
Among other things, the video sees the C-Class accelerate all the way to 250 km/h (155 mph).
