The work on the high-end Mercedes-AMG C63 sedan is in full swing, and the latest test car spied on the streets indicates that the premiere is not too far away.
The photos depict a car with exposed front fascia, rear end and lighting, whereas all earlier versions had those parts imperviously disguised. As you can see, there is quite a large lower grille with side air intakes, an aggressive front bumper and the signature Panamericana grille.
It is official that the next-gen C63 will go on sale with fewer cylinder in the engine bay than its predecessor (shown in the attached video) did. Buyers will have to settle for a 2.0L four-cylinder hybrid with so far undisclosed characteristics. Rumor claims the output will be no less than 558 PS (550 hp / 410 kW).
Stay tuned for the premiere later this year.
