Mercedes-Benz has finally unveiled the next iteration of its Citan panel van. Sales in Europe are set to start in September from €23,800.
In essence, the leisure activity vehicle is a Renault Kangoo clone with its own looks and an MBUX infotainment system on board. Depending on your chosen trim level, it comes with a two-zone HVAC, wireless charger pad, parking assistance, and steering wheel heating.
The range currently includes a passenger van and an LCV, but a long-wheelbase variant and an all-electric one are coming in the near future.
Power options so far include a 1.5-liter diesel available in 75–116 PS (74–114 hp; 55–85 kW) variants and a 1.3-liter gasoline turbo obtainable in 102 and 131 PS (100 and 129 hp; 75 and 96 kW) versions. You can choose between six-speed manual and seven-speed DSG for transmission.
